Course Description
WordPerfect® 11: Level 2 is a hands-on instruction book that will introduce you to the basics of the WordPerfect word processing application.
Prerequisites: We designed WordPerfect 11: Level 2 for the student who has previous experience with WordPerfect 11. To ensure your success with this course, we recommend that you first take the following Element K Content courses or have equivalent knowledge.- Windows XP: Introduction

Hardware/Software Requirements
You will need:
- Personal computer with Pentium 166 MHz processor or equivalent.
- Minimum of 64 MB of RAM (128MB recommended).
- 330 MB of free hard-disk space. Space requirement may vary by configuration.
- Either a local CD-ROM drive or access to a networked CD-ROM drive.
- A two-button mouse, an IntelliMouse, or compatible pointing device.
- Super VGA, 16-bit color monitor supporting 800x600 or higher resolution.
- An installed printer driver. (Printers are not required; however, each PC must have an installed printer driver to use Print Preview.)
- A Custom Setup of WordPerfect Office 11. See the Class Requirements section for details.
- A Custom installation of Outlook 2002. See the Class Requirements section for details.
- Windows XP Professional. This course was written using the Windows XP Professional operating system with SP1 installed. WordPerfect 11 will run on Windows 2000 with SP3, Windows NT 4 with SP6a, Windows 98 SE, or Windows ME. However, using this course with other operating systems or configurations may affect how the activities work.
Performance-Based Objectives
- Modify, format, and work with numeric data within a table.
- Change the appearance of text by using styles.
- Create, use, and edit templates.
- Merge a document with data to create multiple variations of the document.
- Merge a document, envelopes, and mailing labels by using the Outlook 2002 Address Book.
- Change the order of records by using the Sort feature.
- Create and run a macro.
- Format text into newspaper columns and add a graphic to a document.
