How is a website developed? What are the emerging trends and technologies on the Internet? In this course, you will examine the technical aspects of the Internet.
Course Objective: You will examine the technical aspects of the Internet.Target Student: Persons in a variety of job roles with basic end-user Internet skills (such as using a browser, using email, viewing websites, or searching for content), who now need to acquire an understanding of the technical underpinnings of the Internet, whether to evaluate Internet technologies for deployment, to interact effectively with Internet technical professionals in business situations, or to serve as prerequisite knowledge as part of a career transition into a job role that involves technical Internet skills.

Hardware Requirements
This course requires one desktop computer each for the instructor and the students.
- A PC with a Pentium® IV 800 MHz CPU or higher.
- A minimum of 512 MB of RAM or higher.
- A generic monitor (1024 x 768).
- A 40-GB hard disk or larger.
- A high-speed Internet connection.
- (Instructor computer only) A display system to project the instructor’s computer screen.
